Alisson Becker has admitted that Liverpoool’s winning Premier League campaign was one of the most grueling seasons he has ever had.The 27-year-old goalkeeper also explained the importance of Jurgen Klopp and described what makes the Reds so special.

Speaking to ESPN Brazil, Alisson said, “It has been one of the most grueling seasons of my life.

“I don’t know if it was because of the pandemic, the longer season… It was also one of the seasons where I played the fewest games due to injuries.

“We came out of the Champions League early, but I think that exhaustion comes from just giving everything we have every time. “

“He trusts us to do what he wants us to do, not only in training sessions, but also on a daily basis.

“He’s a passionate guy and he shows it. He wants to win and make Liverpool an even bigger club. ”

“Our group is certainly very strong,” he said. “Each player has so much quality individually, and we have at least four consistently top-notch players, the best in the world in their place, and that makes them a special team.

“But what really makes the difference is the way we play together.

“We think as one, we all have the same goal, and that is to do whatever we can to achieve those goals, exposing everything mentally and physically. ”
