On his match with Cena at the 2017 Royal Rumble: “Like I said, the chemistry we have is amazing. So what you don’t know about that game at Royal Rumble is because the SummerSlam one was totally different. We never got out of the ring in the Royal Rumble game, we never went to the ground. What’s different from most games, you know? So I’m really proud of it. There are a lot of things to be proud of about these games, and that was one of them.
On if the game is a bit underrated now in terms of what that means for his career: “Look, that 2016 game with John Cena was a game-changer for me. It changed everything. And so if people play it down, they say it wasn’t that great but maybe they weren’t watching the same game as everyone else. I thought it was great, all about it. The atmosphere, the fans were amazing. I think it was a game that not many people thought they would see, including myself. Being able to compete with John Cena in a WWE ring in one of the biggest PPVs of the year was, it’s amazing. I thought it was easily one of the best games of my career.
