WWE SmackDown Friday night drew record views since moving to FOX


Blame hot dogs, burgers and fireworks, but last night the WWE Friday Night Smackdown hit a record audience last night.

In a show featuring Drew Gulak against AJ Styles, Matt Riddle against John Morrsion and a convoluted closing segment between Jeff Hardy and Sheamus (via satellite), the July 3 SmackDown had an average of 1.776 million viewers, compared to 2.173 million viewers in June. 26 episode.

This week is a record low since the series moved to FOX and has dropped more than 100,000 from its previous low of 1.918 million on May 1, leaving WWE heading for the holiday weekend of Independence feel as frosty as Matt Riddle’s tootsies.
