WWE hires new CFO to report directly to Vince McMahon

WWE today announced the appointment of Kristina Salen as CFO reporting directly to WWE President and CEO Vince McMahon, effective August 3, 2020.Frank A. Riddick III had served as interim chief financial officer since January while the company was looking for a permanent chief financial officer following the departure of co-chairs George Barrios and Michelle Wilson. They also plan to appoint a permanent chief revenue officer.

Salen was Etsy’s first CFO, where she grew the business from $ 895 million in gross sales to $ 3 billion in four years, led and executed the company’s IPO offer. ‘company, and built and managed its business development, strategic planning, investor relations, accounting, Tax and Data Analytics functions.

Salen has also served as CFO / COO at Moda Operandi and Translation Enterprises / United Masters, and has managed global media and telecommunications funds with Fidelity Investments. Earlier in her career, she held positions as a financial analyst at Oppenheimer Capital, Merrill Lynch Investment Managers and Lazard Freres & Co., and sits on the boards and audit committees of SiriusXM and Cornerstone OnDemand.
