The World Health Organization has reported a record increase in the number of coronavirus cases worldwide, with 212,326 cases registered in just 24 hours, against a background of sharp increases in the United States, Brazil and India.The WHO status report showed that just under 130,000 of these new cases were in the Americas, including the United States, Brazil and Mexico, but WHO said the Southeast Asia, including India, accounted for just under 28,000 new cases on Saturday.
