Jota opens on the links between Jimenez and Man United

Diogo Jota said that Raul Jimenez was happy with the Wolves, despite Manchester United’s “flattering” interest.

Since he definitively moved his loan from Benfica last summer, the Mexican international has been in scintillating form.

With 24 goals and 10 assists in all competitions, Jimenez has become one of the most wanted attackers in Europe.

In a recent interview with journalists in Mexico, Wolves number 9 admitted that he was flattered by interest from teams like Manchester United, but that he was happy with Molineux.

The Celtic launch offer for the Wolves target

Celtic is ready to make an offer to land young Wigan Athletic Joe Gelhardt, according to reports.

The 18-year-old was quickly entered into the first team of the Latics this season after impressing manager Paul Cook.

Gelhardt has been linked to a number of Premier League clubs, with Wolves, Liverpool, Everton and Leicester City all credited with interest.

He signed a new deal late last year, one that would keep him at the DW stadium until next summer.

Wolf game on the BBC and more details

Wolves’ game against Burnley next month will be broadcast live on the BBC.

More details have been confirmed with the end of the 2019-2020 season.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s team will face Burnley at 6 p.m. on July 15 and this match will be free.

They then welcome Crystal Palace five days later at 8:15 p.m. with this match on BT Sport.
