King Corbin interrupted the interview and expelled Cole from “his ring” before saying Riddle disrespected him last week. Corbin said someone had to “put him in his place” and Riddle said “let’s go, brother.” Corbin said that this is not how it works on SmackDown before calling John Morrison to fight for him.
Matt Riddle contre John Morrison
Corbin was in comment while the Miz joined us at the edge of the ring at the start of the match. Riddle and Morrison thwarted each other early before Riddle was knocked over but returned with a gut keyed suplex. Morrison was caught in an ankle lock before hitting a big kick in the ropes for a near fall.
Morrison hit a corkscrew plancha and almost got the count of three before hitting knees running in the face. Riddle was outside and hit Corbin with his seesaw before we headed for a break. We returned to SmackDown to see Morrison strike a huge movement of upper string followed by a Spanish fly standing for another near the fall.
Riddle took over with a knee strike and then an electric bomb before hitting the final knee strike. Miz and Corbin tried to distract Riddle but he managed to wind up the veteran for the big win on SmackDown.
Result: Matt Riddle beats. John Morrison

As the match ended on SmackDown, AJ Styles rushed onto the scene and attacked Riddle while Drew Gulak chased him.
