What does a Kevin Smith Slasher look like? Watch the trailer for the anthology “Killroy Was Here”!


After Red state and Defense, Kevin Smith returns to horror with Killroy was there, which began as a Krampus film before being rewritten. The horror-comedy creatures anthology was inspired by the “KilRoy Was Here” graffiti that was prominent during WWII, and Smith shared the official Comic-Con @ Home trailer today.During today’s SDCC panel, Smith compared his latest horror film to Horror show, while noting that it is also in the same vein as our own anthology film V / H / S.

Smith teased, “There’s a theme running through it, and all these little stories going around. [Killroy]. He’s kind of like an Avenger kid. If you fuck with children, Killroy will appear. And he looks wonderfully awkward. Bald head and nose hanging over the fence.[[[[Robert Kurtzman]came up with something that’s pretty awful, but also wacky at the same time.

Killroy was there is courtesy of Smodcast Pictures & Semkor Productions in association with Ringling College of Art & Design. The plan is to publish the anthology in early 2021.

The cast includes Jason Mewes and Chris Jericho.

Smith directed and wrote the screenplay with Andy McElfresh.
