Walt Disney World begins to reimburse annual pass holders after monthly payment processing error


Yesterday, Walt Disney World Resort annual pass holders who were on the monthly payment plan were billed for four months of payments at one time. That afternoon Disney released a statement that the error was due to a “computer problem” and the refunds would begin to be “actively processed”.Checking in with our WDWNT employees, it appears that refunds have started to be processed today, allowing everyone a giant sigh of relief.

However, it does not seem to have happened to everyone and some staff members even had the payments taken from their accounts today rather than yesterday.

We also observed many guests lined up in front of the Welcome Center Guest Relations today on a trip to Disney Springs, noting that they were turned back because guests were told that nothing could be done there.
