Virgin Media Internet down: users complain that they cannot connect and the network does not work

Virgin Media’s Internet service has stopped working for some of its users, according to the people concerned.

Customers reported that they were unable to connect, apparently due to problems with the network.

The company asked those who complained on Twitter to visit its service status page, which informs them of the status of any outages, although some said they were unable to access to this site too.

According to DownDetector, the problem seemed to start at 8:00 a.m., peaking around 1:00 p.m.

The problem affects users across the country, in cities like London, Manchester, Birmingham and Leeds.

Some users in Glasgow and Belfast were also affected.

78% of users have seen their cable Internet connection stop working. 18% of people saw their mobile data interfered with, while a small percentage (3%) of people saw their television signal interrupted.

We do not know what is causing the problem.

The independent has contacted Virgin Media for comments.

This is not the only example recently where the Virgin Media service has stopped working.

Last month, the service went down for users across the country.

In 2018, Virgin Media was reported to serve 5.9 million cable customers across the country and provide assistance to 3.1 million mobile customers.
