“Randy Levine is a great friend of mine from the Yankees,” Trump said. “He asked me to throw the first pitch. And I think I’m doing it on August 15th at Yankee Stadium.

The Yankees have also confirmed that Trump will pitch the first pitch of a game. If that happens on August 15, as he has announced, it will be before a game against the Boston Red Sox. Since being elected president in 2016, Trump has not thrown the first pitch in a baseball game.
