Toonami fans can’t wait to see more of Fena: Pirate Princess


The first big surprise during the Toonami Special Edition of Adult Swim Con on Saturday night was the announcement that Adult Swim and Crunchyroll would be teaming up for a brand new anime series called Fena: pirate princess. This new original animated series will be hosted by Production IG and directed by Kazuto Nakazawa, and is currently scheduled for 12 episodes. While much of the production is still being kept under wraps in terms of the series’ voice cast and general staff, fans can expect the new anime to debut on the Toonami programming block. by Adult Swim and broadcast on Crunchyroll in 2021.Fans are no doubt excited for the first look at the new series with a first trailer showcasing plenty of characters and moments to come in the new series. Adult Swim and Crunchyroll describe Fena: pirate princess as such, “Fena: Pirate Princess is an original 12-episode animated series that tells the story of a young orphan, Fena Houtman. Fena was raised on an island where there is no hope of becoming anything but chattel, to be used and rejected by the soldiers of the British Empire.

But Fena is more than just a helpless orphan. When her mysterious past comes knocking on the door, Fena will break the chains of her oppressors. Her goal: to forge a new identity, without slavery, and to seek a place where she can truly belong and discover the real mysteries behind a keyword “Eden”. It’s the story of a life-long adventure that she and her crew of misfits and unlikely allies will have, in pursuit of her goals! ”
