MIAMI – As the NBA seeks to resume its season suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic, several confirmed cases of COVID-19 appear on the Miami Heat list.

A source confirmed to Local 10 news that a third Heat player had tested positive for the new coronavirus.

The team did not disclose the names of the second or third player for a positive test, but the Miami Herald reports that the two are rotating players who should contribute.

The Heat had already closed its facilities after the revelation of the second positive test on Friday.

Derrick Jones, Jr. was the first player to test positive. The team is set to head to the Wide World of Sports complex for the restart of the NBA season on Wednesday.
