You can register at any time by 6 p.m. CEST on July 20 (i.e. 5 p.m. UK time, 12 p.m. Eastern time or 5 a.m.Pacific time), when winners will be notified by email. Participants must be over the age of 18 and you may have to pay for the delivery of your new North, as OnePlus will not pay “price collection expenses”.
You also run the risk of having your registration disqualified if you do not follow OnePlus Nord on Instagram, which means that you cannot simply unsubscribe immediately after confirming your registration for the competition. OnePlus also controls all the messages you post while trying to win contest entries and reserves the right to reject any content whose content is questionable, so think carefully before tweeting.
The competition is open to “all persons residing in the regions served by oneplus.net”. This theoretically means that American users can get their hands on a North, even if OnePlus does not offer the phone for sale in the United States at launch.
If you want to pre-order the North normally, your next chance will be tomorrow (July 15). It will be the third pre-order window that OnePlus has offered, with the first and second opportunities, offering 100 and 900 phones respectively, after selling quickly.
But why would you want a North in the first place? OnePlus will probably do its best to convince you when the AR launches on July 21, but even the specs excite us. For less than $ 500, you can get a 6.4-inch phone with two front cameras, four rear cameras, 5G connectivity and up to 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. Compared to other mid-range phones like the iPhone SE (2020) or the Pixel 3a, this sounds like a fantastic deal, so we are very keen to try the phone for ourselves.
