BRITS head to Spain in the face of “airport chaos” after the country has introduced QR codes follow-up and health forms for all arrivals.
Mallorca Airport passengers saw huge queues this week due to the confusion of the new system, with many claiming that it has not been properly implemented.
As of July 1, all the Brits head to Spain need to have a QR tracking code, which they then present on their arrival at the destination airport with their passengers health form.
But the medical experts, the unions and the passengers say that it is already causing chaos in the first few days since the international borders have been opened to Spain and will only get worse as the floods in the Uk are given the green light for a journey without the need of a quarantine of 14 days upon their return to the house.
The BRITISH government has announced that from tomorrow, the Foreign Office will remove the advice against non-essential travel, and from the 10th of July, this will be the end of the united KINGDOM of quarantine for people returning from Spain.
At the present time, the Spanish airports are only a fraction of the flights, but to multiply by the hundreds, once the British began to fly again in the usual numbers.
The Spanish airport authority AENA has already blamed long queues at the airport of Palma de Mallorca on muddled-up.
They say that the holiday makers arrive with them, incomplete, completed incorrectly, or is not in possession of a form or a QR code to all – these should be verified or corrected, causing long waits in the arrivals.
The number of tourists arriving at the Airport of Palma have described the scenes arrivals as ” chaos “.
“This is terrible,” a shocked passenger told the Spanish press after arrival at the Airport of Palma de Mallorca.
Regular passengers to Spain, saying that most of the airports cannot cope in the best case, therefore, it is “bound to chaos” thanks to this new rule.
They continued: “there were only two people to gather information on the health of the leaves of hundreds of crowded passengers. Our health is at stake. ”
President of the Association of Foreign Doctors of Health, Maria del Mar Faraco said that the situation in the airports is going to be very difficult because of the absence of the right staff.
The Spanish government says it has told all the people involved in holiday bookings, travel agents for the airlines, about the health of new forms and QR codes, which can be obtained by e-mail from 48 hours before departure.
