Thanet: live updates as police demarcate cliff at Botany Bay at Broadstairs

Police installed a cordon at Botany Bay in Broadstairs.

Officers, paramedics and forensic investigators were all spotted at the scene.

Emergency responders were seen stationed on Marine Drive and below on the beach.

The nature of the incident has yet to be confirmed, but Kent police and the South East Coast ambulance service have been contacted for comment.
