Stormzy helped decorate a schoolboy’s room as a reward for the youngster’s good behavior in class.The rapper worked with the decoration company The Good Guys.

Once a month, the firm decorates the bedroom of a deserving youngster, according to BBC London, who filmed the visit.

Cycle Carth, founder of The Good Guys, said, “Today’s award is for a student from one of the schools we paint.

“He has been selected for his positive behavior since entering school.”

The grime artist, known for songs like Crown and Vossi Bop, surprised Ishae, 15, from Croydon, in south London, near where he grew up.

Ishae was shocked when the star answered the front door after helping decorators paint a wall, which he also signed.

Speaking of taking time to help, Stormzy thought it “instead of [playing] FIFA, come and do something good ”.

Stormzy is involved in a number of charitable projects and last month pledged £ 10 million over 10 years to organizations committed to the fight for racial equality.

The former Glastonbury star launched a scholarship fund in 2018 for two black students to study at Cambridge University each year.
