Canadian sport anchor Dan O’Toole said her 5-week-old daughter Oakland was “safe” after saying she had disappeared a few hours earlier.

On Friday, he went to Twitter to provide an update on the event, but has since deleted the tweets.

“My baby Oakland has been found and is believed to be safe. The police informed me at 12:07 p.m. I still haven’t seen Oakland or detained her. For those who decided to attack me out of fear for the safety of my daughter, I don’t ‘I don’t know what to say,” he wrote.

“I just hope you never have to look into your own children’s eyes and tell them that you don’t know where their sister is or when they will ever see her again.” I’m still broken. I don’t know if any of us will be repaired. We just want our Oakland to come back. ”

He continued, “A 5 week old baby. 5 weeks. A child who was supposed to be my dependent. 5 weeks. I still haven’t seen a photo of her, let alone held it. Yet my character called in question? Attack. Defamed. Do people “question” history? I have no words. I’m finished. ”

On Thursday, the 44-year-old television personality posted a photo of Oakland with the caption “Praying that whoever has you will hold you. May he who took you from me protect you. That (sic) has you, however, let’s come back to my arms. ”

He has since taken the photos but said it was safe but has not yet been collected. O’Toole also has two older daughters Ruby and Sydney. He said his “amazing ex-wife Corrie has nothing to do with it. Please leave her alone. ”

Durham Regional Police in Ontario, Canada, confirmed that Oakland was with his biological mother.

“We reviewed the social media post of a local resident / sports broadcaster regarding an alleged abduction of his young daughter. Although this has not been reported to us, we can confirm that the baby has been / continues to be safe with her biological mother in the Peterborough area, “police wrote on Twitter.

He co-hosts “SC with Jay and Dan” on Canada’s Sports Network (TSN). O’Toole announced that Oakland was born on May 26 and posted a photo of the little girl.

An O’Toole representative did not immediately return Fox News’ request for comment.
