Rylan Clark-Neal paid a moving tribute to an audience familiar with Big Brother’s Bit On The Side, after his death at 47.
The presenter, 31, took to Instagram to pay tribute to “the incredible” Karen Cummings, saying he was “gutted” to learn of her passing.
Rylan hosted the Big Brother Bit On The Side spin-off from 2013 until the Channel 5 series was discontinued in 2018.

Speaking to Twitter, Rylan paid tribute to guest Karen by reposting a photo and statement that had been shared by those close to her.
The image also indicated that she died on July 20 and her cause of death was not yet known.
Rylan’s caption read: “I have just received some very sad news. Our #BBBOTS audience, the lovely Karen, has sadly passed away.
“She was an amazing woman who we have had many shows with and I am delighted to hear this news, sending all my love to Nicola and her family. Rest in peace, beautiful xx. ‘

The original statement shared by Karen’s family read: “It is with deep regret that we wish to inform you that our beloved sister Karen Cummings, 47, has sadly passed away. She is survived by her father Léon, her brother Anthony and her family, three sisters Rosemary, Tracey and Nicola and her niece Chantelle.
“Please respect the family’s wishes for privacy during this difficult time. More details to follow. Thank you.’
Below Rylan’s post, Karen’s sister Nicola replied, “Thanks to Rylan and everyone for your kind messages,” which led the presenter to respond, “Thinking of you. “
Grateful: Under Rylan’s tweet, Karen’s sister Nicola responded by thanking him and his fans for their kind messages of support.
Rylan took over as the host of Bit On The Side in 2013, and began solo animating in 2015 when Emma Willis took over the animation duties of Big Brother.
In addition to chatting with a panel of celebrities, many regulars in the audience became fan favorites, offering their unadorned views of the celebrity and civilian roommates.
Bit On The Side ended in November 2018, when Big Brother himself was taken out by Channel 5.
