A flight from Krakow to Dublin was forced to land after a note was found in the toilet stating that there were explosives on board.
Ryanair’s flight was diverted to Stansted Airport, where police from Essex were conducting checks.
Two RAF Typhoon aircraft escorted the aircraft, which landed at approximately 6:40 p.m. BST.
An airline spokesperson said, “The plane landed normally, but was transported to a remote stand where the passengers disembarked safely. ”
She said in a statement: “The plane and the passengers are checked by British police who will decide when they can fly to Dublin on a spare plane.
“Investigations in progress”
“Dublin passengers awaiting departure for Krakow are transferred to a spare plane to minimize any delay in their flight. ”
Essex police said, “We have now safely evacuated all passengers on the plane. The aircraft remains in an isolated area in Stansted and our investigations are underway. “
