Prince Harry seen as ‘passive’ as popularity hits lowest in eight years in new poll


The Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry, has been seen as a “liability” according to a recent poll.
The royal, who stepped down from his top post in March, is apparently no longer a favorite in the public eye.
A new poll by The Sun shows Prince Harry, 35, is seen as a liability by 38% of participants.
In 2012, only 9% of participants in a similar survey considered Harry to be a disability.
In this new poll, only 35% of participants see him as an asset to the British nation.

While in 2012, 75% considered it an asset.

The lowest king in this poll is Prince Andrew.
Around 80% of respondents consider it a liability and barely 4% consider it an asset.
The Queen remains the most popular royal. Her Majesty has an 81% approval rating and is followed by Prince William, Kate Middleton and Prince Charles.
Harry still wins over his wife Meghan Markle. Meghan, is considered a liability by 51% and an asset by 24%.
However, these results differ from another poll conducted at YouGov.

Here, Prince Harry remains the fourth most popular royal with a 59% approval rating.

In this poll, he is three places ahead of his father, Prince Charles, who gets a 48% approval rating.

When will Prince Harry return to the UK?

Meghan ranks ninth with 40% approval – ahead of other top royals such as Camilla Duchess of Cornwall, Princess Eugenie and Prince Andrew.

Last November, Harry left for Canada with Meghan, to announce in January that they would be stepping down from their senior royal duties.
The couple now reside in Los Angeles at the mansion owned by Tyler Perry.
It is not known when and if they will return to the UK.
Reports have revealed that Harry found life in lockdown in LA difficult, as he knew few people there.
But additional reports indicate Meghan assured her he would ‘love’ life in LA once the lockdown ends.
They reside in their new home in Los Angeles with their son Archie, one year old, and Meghan’s mother, Doria, 63.
