Manchester United faced Southampton in the final match of the last round of the Premier League matches. The Red Devils were fortunate enough to climb to third place with a win after Chelsea and Leicester escaped this weekend.
“Southampton is a good team, they run, run and hunt. We never took our pace today. We have sometimes played fantastic football. The two goals we scored were very, very good.
“It was the worst time to concede a goal, but it happens in football. We have won so many games this way. It’s all part of this team’s learning. ”
Elsewhere in the Premier League, Tottenham sealed a 2-1 victory over Arsenal with Toby Alderweireld’s lead in the 81st minute.

The North London derby seemed to be heading for a draw, but the Spurs defenseman got three points to place Jose Mourinho’s side over Arsenal in eighth place.
With three games left, Tottenham has 52 points to 50 for Arsenal, but is seven points behind Leicester in fourth.
Arsenal took the lead dramatically with Alexandre Lacazette’s brilliant strike at 17 minutes but they were caught almost immediately as Son Heung-min punished a defensive error.
Both sides were denied by the woodwork and the Gunners were in the ascendancy after the break before the solid arrival of Tottenham ensured a third successive home victory since the restart.
Norwich, meanwhile, was relegated from the Premier League after a 4-0 loss to West Ham, Michail Antonio scoring four goals for the Hammers.
