Power outage currently affects residents of eastern Sault, says PUC
The outage is unplanned and the cause of the outage is unknown at this time, but PUC is aware of this and is working to restore power.
PUC says the power outage started at 4:38 p.m. Wednesday, July 1.
Line crews are investigating the power outage that affects 858 customers in Trunk Rd areas from Boundary to Lake, Idaho, Arizona, Silverbirch, Macdonald; Black Rd., Burton, Fairmount, Creery / Breton, Danby / Parker.
PUC reminds all our customers:
- Fallen wires should always be considered energized or “energized”, and extremely dangerous
- Do not approach or drive over a fallen power line and do not touch anything with which the power line may be in contact.
- Parents are encouraged to tell their children about the safety of power lines and the dangers that can be associated with power lines
- Take all necessary safety precautions during a power outage
