So it’s no surprise that getting a new version tops Phil’s list as soon as the lockdowns have been relaxed.
He was broken in the chair, a mask on his face, while a hairdresser stood behind him wearing protective equipment.
“Finally, I can visit @linocarbosiero,” wrote Phil, delighted.
Today also marked the return of living legend Alison Hammond to This Morning studios as they were allowed to bring in a guest.
And Alison had devised an ingenious way to make sure everyone kept their distance – by making a pole and attaching it to the top of their head.
“It’s my two meter pole!” She laughed in the studios.
But Phil was forced to put to bed speculation that he had planned to leave the ship from ITV to the BBC.
It had been reported that the basic product of Phil TV was being sued by the Beeb with the lure of a multi-million pound contract.
But Phil took the time to assure worried viewers that he was going nowhere.
When a passionate fan tweeted him asking if he was going to leave This Morning, he came back with a laughing emoji and wrote, “Of course not. “
He has been presenting the show since 2002, while standing alongside Fern Britton, before being joined by Holly in 2009.
The duo also presents another ITV follower, Dancing On Ice.
And it was recently announced that her show The Cube – last seen in 2015 – would make a comeback.
