Harvey, Phil Neville’s son, signed his first professional contract with Manchester United.
The 18-year-old, who is a defender like dad Phil and his uncle Gary, signed a one-year contract with the Old Trafford team after he turned 18 late last month.
Harvey announced the news on his own Instagram account, revealing that he had signed a contract.

He said: “Proud to have signed my first professional contract with Manchester United. “
He continued, “Thank you to all my family and to all of my coaches for their support.”
His father Phil was one of the first to comment on the message, drawing red, white and black circles – the colors of United – and adding a heart emoji at the end.

Harvey’s final task is to earn a spot on the United U-23 team before aiming to be on the first team, like his father and uncle.
He follows famous tracks, Phil having played for United, Everton and England while his uncle Gary has spent his entire playing career with the Red Devils.
The two have won the Premier League many times and won the Champions League – while Gary has had a successful career as a specialist.

Harvey – who is also the nephew of former English netball international Tracey – could have followed a different path from Gary and Phil, having started his career in Manchester City.
He also spent time in Valencia when his father was a coach there – Gary also taking care of the Spanish side for a short stay.
He returned to United in 2018 and also spent time with youth from the Republic of Ireland.
Although he is now a defender, Harvey started in the midfield before moving on to a place in the back right – like Phil and Gary.
Harvey already spent time with the Spanish team from Valencia when his father was a coach there.
