A Lewis Capaldi peckish surprisingly managed to get a Dominos pizza delivered halfway through in one last attempt to get a train set. The Scottish song sensation collapsed when he realized that there was no food cart in service from Edinburgh to London today.

But in a brilliant moment, the 23-year-old player sent an SOS Instagram message to one of his most loyal friends over the years – the take-out giant.

Lewis Capaldi poses with an LNER staff member

Posting at 11.35 am, he wrote: “‘HELLO @Dominos_UK I HAVE AN URGENT REQUEST PLEASE PLEASE ME DM, ONCE AGAIN IT IS A QUESTION IF THE MOST IMPORTANT IMPORTANCE THANKS YOU

“Your friend, Lewis Capaldi x”

And unbelievably, the star didn’t have to wait too long, when two large Pepperoni Passion pizzas and a garlic and herb dip arrived when the train arrived at Darlington station.

The images show the top artist who greets the staff member as a long lost friend while the train waits on the platform.

Known for his razor sharp mind, the delivery team added a little personal baggage, leaving a cheeky handwritten note that read: “We are glad we are someone you love.

Lewis Capaldi thanked Dominos for their typical fast delivery

“We live to make your heart beat better. Eat me while you wait. ”

The meal obviously went down as well as Lewis hoped, as he uploaded a photo of the two pizzas to Instagram with the caption: “Dominos you beautiful b ***** ds”.

Domino’s stores and Community Manager, Rachel Townsend, said, “Lewis Capaldi knows that nothing delivers like Domino’s, and our Darlington store is about to go to the station to deliver Lewis’ favorite Pepperoni Passion pizza in no time before the departure of his train.

“We are so happy to be able to help him when needed.”
