PC brand Beefless Burgers recalled due to pieces of wood


The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) says that Loblaw Companies Limited is recalling undeniable President’s Choice brand burgers because of “foreign matter” – in this particular case, they are pieces of wood.The recall notice was published on the agency’s website on July 16.

The CFIA says certain 452 gram and 226 gram packages are affected by the recall.

The agency says these products have been sold nationwide:

  • Undeniable beef burger (frozen), 452 g with expiration dates of January 29, 2021 and February 9, 2021. The UPC code on the box is 0 60383 21511 8
  • Undeniable burger without beef, 226 g, with the code: 12520 SL / DDV6. The UPC code on the box is 0 60 383 00005 9
  • Beefless Undeniable Burger, 226g, with expiration dates January 1, 2021, February 9, 2021, and February 12, 2021. UPC code on the box is 10060383000056

“Recalled products should be discarded or returned to the store where they were purchased,” the CFIA said in a statement to CityNews. ” There are no known injuries related to the product at this time. ”
