The NBA has announced the full schedule of seven-day shows to be held at the Disney World complex in Orlando, Florida, before the resumption of the 2019-2020 season amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Shams Charania of Stadium and The Athletic provided the full list:

Each team will play three scrums before restarting the regular season, which will end with eight shortened games before potential seeded tournaments and a standard post-season.

The NBA continued to push ahead with plans to resume, and ultimately complete, the 2019-20 campaign despite a recent climb COVID-19 cases in Florida.

Several players have chose to withdraw of the restart, and in June, NBA Commissioner Adam Silver said he understood that the “bubble” environment in Orlando “might not be right for everyone”:

In addition to the health issues, the players raised the issue of the Black Lives Matter movement which could get lost in the background after the game resumed.

“Once we start playing basketball again, the news will go from systemic racism to who did what in the game last night. This is a crucial time for us to be able to play and mix it up and have an impact on what is happening in our communities, “said an unknown. the player said to ESPN Adrian Wojnarowski. “We ask ourselves:” Where and how can we have the greatest impact? Mental health is also part of the discussion, and how we manage it all in a bubble. ”

The regular season will start on July 30, two days after the end of the exhibition games, and will continue until mid-August. The playoffs should begin on August 17, the last possible date for the final being October 13.

For now, the 2020-21 season is tentatively scheduled to begin on December 1.

The Milwaukee Bucks, Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers are the best contenders for the championship before the game resumes.
