This weekend, the UFC will crown a new bantamweight champion when Petr Yan and Jose Aldo lock their horns at UFC 251 on ‘Fight Island’. Unfortunately for a man, this leaves him in the cold and he seems to be unhappy with the situation.
Best competitor Marlon Moraes is currently the No. 1 bantamweight in the world and has just won a split decision victory over Jose Aldo at UFC 245. But despite his victory over Aldo, he is the former double featherweight champion (and current sixth). classified bantamweight) who gets a shot at the vacant title. Even worse for Moraes is that he sat lazily on the sidelines while the rest of the division continues.
Since Moraes’ last competition, Aljamain Sterling has staked his claim for the next title stroke with a demolition of Cory Sandhagen in fifth place, and Cody Garbrandt has rekindled some of the old magic that made him the champion when he presented a KO candidate of the year on Raphael Assuncao. The two men have designs on the bantamweight title, creating a blockage at the top of the division, and Moraes’ lack of fight to re-enter this conversation begins to frustrate him.
Recently, on Instagram, Moraes expressed his frustrations with the other 135 contenders and called two former bantamweight champions, Garbrandt and Dominick Cruz, for fights.
“I’m not the best excuse!” Moraes wrote. “I was taught to say yes for each challenge. Get the F. in the ring and fight. Enough is enough names available and they all say no. (Cody Garbrandt) the fastest hands of all players, etc, etc. (Dominick Cruz) best bantamweight all the time etc etc why not ??? ”
” Am I wrong???? Would you like to watch these fights? ”
Cruz, who recently lost his own bantamweight title to Henry Cejudo, did not respond; however, Garbrandt was quick to respond, saying he agreed to fight in October.
Before his Assuncao knockout last month, Garbrandt had lost three straight games in the division, all by knockout. The victory over Assuncao blew up “No Love” in the standings and if Moraes and Garbrandt were fighting, the winner would certainly be on the shortlist to face the winner of Yan-Aldo.

One wonders a bit why the UFC didn’t just pay Masvidal in the first place.
The Max / Volk fight in danger I heard that Masvidal got what he wanted in the agreement || Good for him! @GamebredFighter

Loss of income.
Shore and Wood refused to fight my Cornerman on short notice. These 2 cowards do not deserve to be part of the best fighting organization in the world, because they chose easier options for themselves
