Memphis Grizzlies forward Justise Winslow (hip) to miss the rest of the season

The Memphis Grizzlies will resume their season in Orlando, but Justise Winslow will not be part of it.The 24-year-old forward tweeted on Tuesday that he injured his hip in a Monday night scrum that would keep him out for the rest of the season.

“Last night in a scrum I suffered a contact injury to my hip which will unfortunately keep me going until next season,” Winslow wrote. “I was delighted to join my brothers on the pitch and will support them throughout. I am focused on returning 100% to a full recovery. ”

Winslow has yet to play for the Grizzlies since acquiring a trade that has seen rights to André Iguodala meet at the Miami Heat in February.

The Houston native has been limited to just 11 games this season, sidelined with a back injury. He last played in January for the Heat.

Winslow was in his fifth NBA season after being caught with the 10th overall pick in the 2015 NBA Draft on Duke.
