MasterChef’s eliminated candidate Chris Badenoch took some goodbye shots of his former co-stars, accusing them of being ponies in one round.

Chris told News.com on Monday that the criticism of Laura Sharrad this season for focusing on pasta was unfair as several other cooks also cooked the same type of food over and over again.

“Poor Laura cuts him off and I don’t understand him. I don’t understand why people decide to go after some people on a certain subject when others are guilty of the same thing, “he said.

Chris argued that the backlash against Laura was ridiculous, saying, “She has an af ** king pasta restaurant, of course, she’s going to make pasta!” It’s what it does best and if it can do it, it will.

He then distinguished two of his former rivals: Reynold Poernomo and Reece Hignell.

“Reece made a thousand f ** king pies but he doesn’t get caught for that. Reynold literally makes the same dish every time, just a variation on a theme, and he’s not trendy for that, “said Chris.

“I don’t know why people give [Laura] a difficult time. ‘

Laura and her husband, chef Max Sharrad, opened their own Italian restaurant, Nido, at Hyde Park in Adelaide last year.

The couple had met in 2015 while working in the kitchen of Jock Zonfrillo’s Orana restaurant. They got engaged in 2017 and married in the Barossa Valley the following year.
