The Manitoba Minister of Health is expected to announce recovery plans for COVID-19 on Thursday. Cameron Friesen will speak at a news conference at 10:00 am at the Manitoba Legislative Building. CTV Winnipeg will broadcast the event live.
On Monday, Friesen announced funding for health care projects totaling $ 358 million.
Of this investment, $ 280 million will go to safety improvements in personal care homes, with some of the other funds set aside for digital health initiatives.
To date, there have been 325 cases of the virus in Manitoba.
