Man in his thirties found dead outside Fraser house when police investigation started


A man was found dead outside House of Fraser in downtown Lincoln, police said.A cord was installed in front of the store this morning, Monday July 6, in the presence of the police and an ambulance.

East Midlands police have now revealed that the recording took place after a 34-year-old man was killed outside the store.

Officers are currently investigating the “unexplained” death but have confirmed that they are not treating it as suspicious.

The deceased was named Lee Hunter locally as tributes pour in for him on social media.

A close friend of Lee who grew up said, “We were childhood friends and I saw him from time to time as an adult, but we both took different paths.

“We went to primary school together and hung out.

“He would try anything to laugh. ”

Timmy Baxter said, “RIP Lee steals the life of a cruel boyfriend sometimes. ”

A force spokesman said earlier today, “We are investigating the sudden death of a man who was found dead outside the Fraser house at 9:00 am this morning.

“Officers and paramedics were present and the man in his thirties was confirmed dead.

“A police cordon was put in place this morning but has since been removed.

“Investigations are underway and we will post an update when it becomes available. “
