Man arrested after stabbing two paramedics


A MAN was arrested after two paramedics were stabbed in Wolverhampton.

Doctors were attacked on property in the Ashmore area of ​​the city this afternoon, police said.

The West Midlands ambulance service said the doctors were attacked while attending a call on a welfare check.

The spokesperson said: “The initial call arrived around 12:15 pm this noon at an address in Stephens Close.

“Shortly after arrival, the crew used their emergency alert to say that they had been stabbed.

“Three more ambulances, two Midlands Air Ambulances and the West Midlands Care Team attended the scene with three paramedics. ”
