Lorraine Kelly leaves Good Morning Britain after four months as they move

Lorraine Kelly greeted the team at Good Morning Britain as she moved from her studio, where she presented her show. She started filming in the GMB studio four months ago when the pandemic started and her original studio was closed.

As the lock eases, her studio has now reopened and she will be back from Monday.

On her website, Lorraine posted a video where she shared the news and said that she was looking forward to returning to “normalcy”.

“Hi everyone, it’s Lorraine here,” she said.

“From Monday, we will be back in our studio, which we all love.

“It was great to be with the guys from GMB, but it will be so nice to get back to normal and come back here.

“So see you Monday! ”

Lorraine had worked alongside Dr Hilary in the studio where Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid presented their GMB relay.

Instead of his own show, the one hour segment of Lorraine was added at the end of GMB.

ITV released a statement at the time that said, “ITV Daytime made the decision to stop broadcasting Lorraine and Loose Women live from Monday, March 23.

“This decision was made to minimize the number of employees entering and leaving our studios and working together as a team at all times.

“We are focusing our efforts on providing viewers with the latest news on the rapidly changing situation which aims to provide some stability and continuity in all of our lives while many of us are at home right now.

“That’s why we made this difficult decision to protect our GMB News program in the morning and keep This Morning on the air for as long as possible. ”

* Lorraine is broadcast on weekdays at 9 a.m. on ITV
