Logic announces retirement and latest album

It’s always difficult to see your favorite rappers announce their intention to quit hip-hop, but Logic is trying to find a way to cushion the blow for longtime fans and supporters. On Thursday (July 16), Logic announced that it would release an album produced by No ID later this month, but that its next album would be its last. Writing a short message on Twitter, the 30-year-old rapper explained that he was going to hang up his microphone to focus on fatherhood.

“Official announcement of my retirement with the release of No pressure executive produced by No ID on July 24, “the tweet started. It has been a great decade. Now is the time to be a grandfather. ”

No pressure is the fifth studio album from rapper “Sucker for Pain”, which premieres on streaming services on Friday July 24. The record is the second to debut in 2014, Under pressure, which peaked at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 and spent 72 weeks on the chart.

No album-related single has surfaced on any streaming platform, but if Logic’s track record is any indication, the rapper / writer should give fans a final banger before turning off the lights. In 2019, the former former Grammy nominee 2013 XXL Freshman released singles titled “OCD”, “IsIs” and “Homicide” with Eminem. It will be its first and last version of 2020.
