Rangers and Lille are separated by at least 3 million euros in their respective assessments of striker Alfredo Morelos, it has been claimed in France.
Lille focused on the Colombia international as he tried to strengthen their attack ahead of the 2020/21 season.
They have already agreed on personal terms with Morelos and the player is ready to sign a four-year contract with the club from northern France.
Lille still have work to do with Rangers and the two sides are somewhat separate in their respective player ratings; it was suggested that no active negotiations are currently underway.
Lille offered Rangers € 15m plus € 2m in bonuses, French outlet says Foot market.
However, it has been claimed that Rangers want at least € 20million to sell Morelos.
It’s unclear whether the Gers would be happy if the € 20m were with bonuses on a base fare, or want € 20m minimum, with add-ons after that.
Morelos has been followed by French clubs for two years, Nice, Marseille and Rennes having also kept an eye on his development at Ibrox.
