Lewis Capaldi delighted after Domino’s response call for delivery to the North East train station


Hungry Lewis Capaldi managed to get Domino’s pizza delivered to Darlington in the middle of a train trip.The Scottish singer tweeted the pizzeria to ask the Pepperoni for a passion during a trip on an LNER service from Edinburgh to London on Friday.

Incredibly, the 23-year-old star didn’t have to wait long for his delivery.

A Domino driver arrived with two large Pepperoni Passion pizzas and a garlic and herb dip as the train arrived at Darlington station.

The order included a handwritten message: “We are glad we are someone you love. We live to make your heart beat better. Eat me while you wait. “

The singer of Someone You Loved briefly got off the train in Darlington, while wearing a face mask, to pick up his takeout.

He greeted the staff member as a long lost friend while the train was waiting on the platform.

A Domino spokesperson said, “Nothing beats Domino even when you’re on a train!”

“The day’s delivery goes to Lewis Capaldi who wanted a passion for Pepperoni on the way to London.

“A big thank you to our #Darlington delivery driver who went to the station to deliver the pizza safely. ”

The last time Lewis Capaldi was in the northeast, he enjoyed a different kind of takeout.

He made an unexpected visit to a Middlesbrough Greggs before his assault set at Radio 1’s Big Weekend in May of last year.

The store has since commemorated his visit with a special blue plaque.
