COronavirus infections have multiplied worldwide on Wednesday, forcing several countries to slow reopening or impose new restrictions on their tired populations.The number of Covid-19 cases worldwide has exceeded 13.4 million and more than 579,000 deaths have been reported.

The situation is expected to worsen in the United States, Walmart, the world’s largest retailer, said it would force customers to wear masks in all of its stores to prevent the spread of the virus.

Venezuela, four days after announcing a relaxation of restrictions, became the last country to reimpose localized foreclosure measures, including a “radical quarantine” in the capital Caracas.

In IrelandPrime Minister Micheal Martin delayed the end of the lockout due to a spate of new cases.
