The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge took their children to the Isles of Scilly, where Prince William spent his childhood summer with the parents, Prince Charles and Princess Diana, and his brother Harry. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Cambridges have chosen to stay in the country and spend quality family time cycling through Tresco Island.
The Cambridges vacation is reminiscent of footage from June 1989 showing William in Scilly biking with his family.
The Duke and Kate are also rumored to have flown to the islands off the coast of Cornwall after their wedding in 2011.
One vacationer said: “William and Kate were biking, laughing.
“They looked so happy to be enjoying the weather.
“I did a double take. They were really nice and said hello.
During the coronavirus lockdown, the royal couple were staying with their children at their Anmer Hall residence in Norfolk.
A source told the Mirror: “They decided to get away quickly before the children returned to school.
