Justin Thomas’ father gives him a caddy in the third round of the commemorative tournament

Justin Thomas said his younger son, Jimmy Johnson, started to feel dizzy and dizzy at the start of the last nine games. He eventually had to be greeted, and that’s once it could have been a problem not having spectators. But his father and trainer, Mike Thomas, followed all week and intervened for the last four holes and more.

“I can tell he was dizzy and just didn’t have a lot of energy,” Thomas said. “I told him on the 12th that if he needed to leave, he had to leave. Just make sure he’s okay, we worry about the two of us over there. I hit my tee shot (the 13th) and Jimmy was gone and my dad was there. ”

Thomas made three putts on the 15th for bogey, then made a double bogey on the 16th with a tee shot in the water. He shot 40 on the back nine and ended up with a 75.

Mike Thomas faced more difficult tasks. He already replaced Johnson two years ago on the Plantation course in Kapalua, the mountain side course, for the Sentry Tournament of Champions when Johnson injured his foot.

“It was a little bit more difficult,” said Mike Thomas.
