Juice WRLD’s posthumous album, “Legends Never Die,” made its historic debut on Billboard.

Juice WRLD’s posthumous album, Legends never die, recorded 497,000 equivalent album units in its first week of release, making it Billboard’s biggest debut of 2020 and the biggest posthumous album debut in 20 years.

Considering only the streaming numbers, Legends never die won a historic 422.63 million on-demand streams. Only three albums gained more streams in their first week.

Juice WRLD’s mother Carmela Wallace released a statement thanking her fans for streaming the album: “The overwhelming love that millions of music fans clearly have for Jarad reminds us of how poetic his words are , his creativity and brilliant light continue to shine around the world. Said Wallace. “This first collection of songs is a poignant reminder of his great artistic talent and his emotional honesty. Music was his passion and recording allowed him to share everything he went through. In addition to his music, Jarad’s legacy will continue to help young people through his Live Free 999 Foundation. We are extremely grateful to the fans who continue to raise him up every day and we hope his words will touch your life with way that will help you overcome any challenges you may be facing.

The album was released on July 10 and features works by Trippie Redd, Polo G, Young Thug, etc.
