Jobs and ecology key to $ 110 billion virus rescue plan

PARIS (AP) – The new French Prime Minister announced Wednesday 100 billion new spending to save the virus economy from its worst crisis since the Second World War. The money will be used to create jobs for young people, reduce French carbon emissions and protect the small businesses that make up the charm of rural France. Prime Minister Jean Castex presented his plans after France suffered more than 30,000 deaths linked to the virus and enormous pressure on its once reputed public health system. The recovery plan provides for a ban on new shopping centers in the French suburbs, aid for electric bikes and French strategic industries.
