The sculpture of a Black Lives Matter protester that replaced the statue of the slave trader Edward Colston in Bristol has been removed.At around 5:20 a.m. Thursday, images of the scene appeared to show workers at the site, 24 hours after the black resin and steel sculpture was erected.

A Bristol city council spokesperson said, “This morning we removed the sculpture. “It will take place at our museum for the artist to collect or make a donation to our collection. “
