“We were talking. He was like, “Oh my God, what happened to you? “I heard of Franco, 42, whom Depp allegedly accused of being her lover.
« [Franco] I saw my face… when I let it in. He saw my face and he said, ‘What is this f – k?’ ”
Heard, 34, was seen red and slightly swollen in new photos taken after fighting with Depp, 57, who had defecated in bed a month earlier.
The “Pirates of the Caribbean” star has been accused of throwing a phone at his then-wife during the meeting – a claim he denies.
On Tuesday, his lawyers took issue with Heard over the authenticity of the photos, referring to earlier claims by witnesses who said they saw no bruises.
One of her lawyers, Eleanor Laws, said Isaac Baruch, a friend of Depp’s who lived in the building, saw Heard “without any injuries,” the same one Franco visited.
“I don’t know what Mr. Baruch saw,” Heard told the court.
The lawyer then referred to the testimony of former Heard interior decorator Laura Divenere, who said the actress only looked “red from crying.”
“I think she said it sounded like, like I was crying… she didn’t say she saw me cry,” Heard said.
Heard testified that Depp had been abusive to her more than a dozen times and said on Tuesday that she was “petrified by the monster Johnny could become”.
The Oscar nominee vehemently denied all allegations of assault arising from their tumultuous marriage, saying it was “she who was violent” towards him.
Heard admitted in court to having hit Depp in a “very violent” fight at the couple’s home in Los Angeles in March 2015.
“I hit Johnny that day to defend my sister [Whitney]. He was about to push her down the stairs, ”Heard said Tuesday, according to the Evening Standard.
She explained that at the time, she recalled hearing about a terrifying incident between Depp and supermodel Kate Moss, 46, who he dated from 1994 to 1998.
“He pushed Kate Moss downstairs. I thought about that moment and in a flash I reacted in defense of [my sister]», She declared in court.
Laws questioned whether Heard had made up Moss’s story on the fly, noting that she had never mentioned the incident before.
But the ‘Aquaman’ actress hit back, “It’s always been. ”
Moss remained silent during the trial, but Depp’s exes Winona Ryder and Vanessa Paradis both submitted statements defending the Oscar nominee.
A representative for Moss did not immediately respond to the request for comment.
In a statement written on Tuesday, Heard still rejected claims that she was physically aggressive in their relationship.
“This is not true. It’s true that I had to use my body and limbs to protect myself from Johnny’s violence and abuse, ”Heard said, according to the Daily Mail.
She claimed that when the “Edward Scissorhands” star used phrases such as “punches” and “slaps” he was often referring to verbal slurs.
“As someone who surrounded himself with people and created a life that allowed him to never have to face criticism or critical comments of any kind, Johnny would often refer to criticism, even perceived, as ‘bangs’, ‘hits’ or ‘straight hooks’, ”she continued, reported the outlet.
Depp is suing for the publication of a 2018 article in The Sun and called him a “female drummer.”
