The postponed Six Nations match between Ireland and France is scheduled to take place on Saturday, October 31 at the Stade de France.
World Rugby has not yet finalized the revised international window, but according to The Irish Times, the president of the French Rugby Federation, Bernard Laporte, made the comments this afternoon.
He is also vice president of the global governing body.
If correct, it could see Ireland’s postponed game against Italy the previous weekend, October 24.
