Husband Can’t Save French Thrown Roller Coaster

A woman was thrown to death in a roller coaster in France – while her husband was desperately trying to grab her feet, reports say.The unidentified 32-year-old mother was celebrating the birthday of her 2-year-old child at Parc Saint-Paul in Oise on Saturday when the tragedy hit a Formula 1 race, said Courrier Picard.

“She has traveled the [safety] bar and her husband tried to grab her by the foot, “a witness by the name of Farida told the newspaper.

It is the same journey where a 35-year-old woman died after being deported in 2009, the newspaper said.

Park officials confirmed to FR24 News that a woman died on the scene Saturday after falling while the ride was “in operation”.

“The park area has been completely cut off for visitors,” said Parc Saint-Paul director Gilles Campion in a press release, FR24 said.

“All the teams join the family to express their deep sadness following this event.”

Police are still investigating the cause of the fatal accident in the park, which attracts nearly 380,000 visitors a year, according to reports.
