Hours of rain expected in Liverpool as thousands of people are expected to flock to city pubs

Hours of rain have been forecast for Liverpool on Saturday, and many are expected to pour into city pubs.As bars and restaurants reopen for the first time in months since the coronavirus first spread across the country, many are planning to spend the day outside.

Downtown establishments have implemented new measures, including new outdoor spaces where customers can drink and meet friends who are part of their social bubbles.

But current weather forecasts for Liverpool could dampen these plans.

The Met Office has forecast more than six hours of rain for Saturday, as well as light winds and cloudy skies.

According to weather forecasts, the rain will not clear up over the city until at least lunchtime and the sun is unlikely to shine at all.

Heavy showers will start early in the morning and will not stop until noon.

It will be cooler than what we are used to with temperatures rarely exceeding 14 ° C.

A Met Office spokesperson said, “Another wet and dreary day for many, although the winds are a little lighter despite a brisk breeze.

“The best chance for bright spells will be south again.

“Maximum temperature 18 ° C.”
