Heather Morris is committed to “doing something every day to honor” Naya Rivera.
Former Glee paid homage to deceased co-star and wife on screen after tragic death in drowning accident in Lake Piru, California last week, vowing to continue activities daily newspapers that help her “feel close” to Naya.
“The messages will spread. But you’re still here with me. And I’m not done remembering your legacy, ”wrote Heather, 33, in a sweet Instagram post.

Heather reminded: ‘You told me “you look so skinny” EVERY TIME you saw me and it made me laugh, I loved it and when I told you what it made me feel … you said “well i would always like to hear that i look skinny so i make sure other people feel good like that.” ”
She noted sadly, “We have a game date in the works this week and I can’t wait for it to be over so I can stop thinking about how I missed our chance to be together.” “
Heather continued, “I loved the way you drank martini and no one would know that you were smoking because you had a brain to hide it. I do something everyday to honor your strength and it helps me feel close to you. I love you no.
Naya disappeared on July 8 after taking her four-year-old son Josey for a boat ride on Lake Piru. Josey was discovered sleeping on the boat but his mother was missing.
Their babies: Earlier this week, Heather released an Instagram album showing her two sons, Elijah, six, and Owen, four, with Naya’s beloved, Josey, four.
His body was found in the lake five days after his disappearance, and the Ventura County medical examiner’s office said his death was a case of accidental drowning, with no indication of alcohol or drugs.

The album was accompanied by another tribute to Naya, where she thanked the late star for teaching her what it was to have a “constant and loving friend”.
She wrote at the time, “We started out as closest friends, and then, like all new things, went through a bit of a difficult phase. However, we stayed side by side and created the most beautiful friendship built out of love and understanding…
“I speak to you every day”: the album was accompanied by another tribute to Naya, where she thanked the late star for teaching her what it was like to have a “constant and loving friend”.
Heather added, “We promised to spend each Easter together, even if Covid stole it from us. You are and will always be the strongest and most resilient human being I know, and I have sworn to carry it with me while continuing to live my life.
She continued, “You have constantly taught me lessons about grief, beauty and poise, strength, resilience and not giving f *** (but still respectful).
Yet the most important lesson I learned from you was to be a constant and loving friend. You were the first to register, the first to ask questions, the first to listen… you cherished our friendship and I never took that for granted.
