Gordon Ramsay brought his baby Oscar with him to work as the famed chef prepared to reopen his restaurants as the lockdown measures were relaxed.The famous 53-year-old chef appeared in good spirits as he made his way to the kitchen with his young son on Saturday.

Sharing a number of posts with his 9.2 million followers on Instagram, the television star captured several cute photos with his 15-month-old son.

In the messages, Oscar put on a gray t-shirt with the logo of his father’s restaurant printed on the front.

The fiery chef cut a relaxed figure with a navy jacket, black jeans and sneakers while playing with his son in the huge kitchen.

“And the calm before the storm …” joked Gordon in one of the videos.

He then added, “Let me introduce our senior deputy chef, Oscar J Ramsay. ”

Gordon – who made a lot of noise after passing the lock in Cornwall – also posted a number of photos as he held Oscar in front of the building and played around the kitchen counter.

The TV star’s lovely family moment came soon after sharing another video that celebrated the revival of the hotel industry after a “test period” in recent months.

Speaking directly to the camera, the chef revealed that he had spoken to his teams and was incredibly excited to be able to reopen his restaurants.

“I have always been optimistic with my glass half full, but it was a test period,” he said in the video.

“Last night I had a meeting with all the teams and the energy in the hall was like a crowded Wembley stadium.

Gordon added: “I can’t wait to heat up these grills and tramps on the seat, but especially to smile on the faces. ”

“I can’t wait to see you – thank God, we’re back. ”
